Ah Munich! Twin town with Dalmarnock in the East End of Glasgow
The Atomic Cafe’ is our port of call today. Named, as you will no doubt be aware, after Joseph “Atomic” Dalmarnock, inventor of the stroboscopic lamp in 1723. Jo was a regular visitor to Munich’s fair city, a frequent frequentor of the Bier Kellors. In fact it was during a particularly active evening down bier strasse that the idea of the strobe came to him in a blinding flash of inspiration. He made his mark, and returned to found the massive strobe factories that were to give Dalmarnock, in Glasgow’s East End, it’s name.
Gig Art
Yes, it’s weird.
What do you make of it Rusty?
How about a bit of dead art, Rusty? Is this more up your Strasse?
Try this, then, a brand new contest. It’s called street art, but, instead of you judging it, though, it’s going to be down to the team out here with me.
It will be announced, along with the others, in London on the thirteenth of May. Can’t wait, marvelous.
Tonight’s Dinner
Tommorow is a day off, as if we need one, eh?
